Nestled within Williamsburg's boutique 42 Hotel, The Infatuation-applauded Blackbird is spreading its wings, creating waves across the city thanks to two-time James Beard Award nominee, Chef Eric LeVine, who trained at The Culinary Institute of America and under the brilliant guidance of Chef David Burke, who received 3 stars from The New York Times & was awarded France's Meilleurs Ouvriers de France Diplome d’Honneur.
Chef LeVine is a Brooklyn-born culinary dynamo whose journey blends formal training, international apprenticeship, and entrepreneurial flair. In addition to his time with Burke at the River Café, he also honed his talents under Jean‑Louis Le Massion in France, Giovanni Brunello in Italy, and Lee Ho in Japan, learning both refined techniques and bold flavors.
