Born in Japan in 1951, with over 80 locations across the country, Yasubee has partnered with bubble tea powerhouse Kung Fu Tea to bring its famed noodle culture to Manhattan. Chef Robert and the culinary team are the maestros behind the magic, crafting fresh, springy noodles, deeply savory broths, and comforting Japanese specialties that have made this Tokyo-born favorite a sensation.

Calling all Tsukemen addicts! Yasubee's signature Shoyu Tsukemen is a noodle lover's dream, starring thick, chewy handmade noodles served separately from a rich, concentrated dipping broth, complete with tender chashu pork, bamboo shoots, seaweed, and a luscious soy-marinated egg. Dunk those noodles, slurp up the goodness, and go back for more! The Miso Tsukemen takes things up a notch with minced pork, vegetables, and an irresistible umami kick.

More of a traditional ramen purist? Get cozy with steaming bowls of Shoyu Ramen, brimming with succulent pork and savory soy-based broth, or dive into the hearty Miso Ramen, piled with minced pork, bean sprouts, cabbage, carrots, scallions, sesame, and a jammy shoyu egg. Tokyo's noodle culture has a seriously cool new address in Chelsea! Bringing an authentic taste of Japan, Yasubee Authentic Ramen is the stateside arrival of a Japanese institution with roots dating back to 1951. With over 80 locations across Japan and coverage from Forbes and The Infatuation, this beloved ramen specialist has built its reputation on one delicious obsession: the perfect noodle, served with broths that pack a proper punch.

The NYC venture brings together two powerhouses of Asian food culture: Yasubee and Kung Fu Tea, the Queens-born bubble tea phenomenon that grew into one of America's biggest boba brands. Founded in 2010 by a group of entrepreneurs determined to bring authentic bubble tea to New York, Kung Fu Tea has become a nationwide favorite. Now, the collaboration is delivering the best of both worlds, pairing Tokyo's noodle-making traditions with refreshing teas, creative drinks, and modern NYC vibes.

And the digs? Nothing like your average noodle joint. Step inside and you're greeted by a riot of bold colors, eye-popping murals, and unmistakable Japanese character. Think electric turquoise walls, rich plum-purple hues, playful food illustrations, and an enormous sword-wielding samurai watching over the dining room. Warm wooden tables, sleek black fixtures, soaring windows, and elevated seating overlooking the Chelsea streets give the space an effortlessly urban feel.

At the heart of it all is Yasubee's devotion to Japanese craftsmanship. Chef Robert and the kitchen team celebrate the art of Tsukemen, a Tokyo favorite that flips the traditional ramen experience on its head. Instead of serving noodles submerged in soup, thick, springy strands arrive separately from a concentrated, savory broth for dipping. It's a ritual that's as satisfying as it is delicious, with each slurp revealing another layer of rich, savory goodness.

And because great noodles deserve equally great drinks, Yasubee keeps the good times flowing with a full bar featuring Tokyo-inspired cocktails, crisp Japanese brews, Matcha IPA, Yuzu Ale, inventive mocktails, and Kung Fu Tea favorites. Big flavors, bold interiors, and Tokyo-level noodle game. Yasubee knows exactly how to make a night of it...

All selections will be made from the restaurant's full dinner menu.

Yasubee Authentic Ramen shines with an incredible 4.6 Stars on Yelp from 70+ reviews including:

  • "Perfect ramen spot for a cold winter day! The waiter was super attentive. We had a pulsd voucher so that included one appetizer, we chose the soy wings which were okay, more to the sweet side. I also tried the matcha IPA, and if you enjoy matcha you definitely enjoying this! I really enjoyed the miso broth, very tasty. You have an option to make them spicy which I really recommend because they have some amazing chilli oil. For dessert we got the basque cheesecake which was so creamy and light! Overall great experience, service and ambiance. Super recommend."

  • "Came here recently to try their pulsd deal - great bang for your buck. I enjoyed the ramen. Drinks wise, I liked all of the beers but especially the Matcha IPA."

  • "The restaurant has two floors, a bar and a great staff. I was served by Adrian and he provided a 5 star great guest service. Great drink options and food options. I ended up getting the Shoyu Ramen and Pork Katsu Donburi. For dessert, I had their vanilla ice cream. I look forward to coming back!"
