"Sit down at Shiraz Kitchen...and you’ll know you’re in a different kind of restaurant...a sanctuary." So says The New York Times about Michelin Bib Gourmand-winning restaurant, Shiraz Kitchen in Chelsea. This treasure trove of authentic Persian flavors will impress beyond your expectations, especially when wine is added into the mix!

Owner Reza Parhizkaran opened the Manhattan location after the massive success achieved at the first Shiraz spot in Elmsford. A homage to the city with the same name, the gem nods to its rich historical heritage, all while bringing contemporary influences into the mix.

Join them & the wine-professionals at Colangelo & Partners on June 18th for a special wine tasting night featuring the unique wines of the Canary Islands! Explore these extraordinary expressions with the help of acclaimed Sommelier Ana Maria Martin, who will use her expertise to walk you through history, flavors, and the beauty of this region.

Crafted since the 15th century, Canary Island wines are derived from volcanic soil, which gives these wines a distinct, mineral-rich flavor. Taste vibrant whites and robust reds made from native grapes like Listán Blanco and Listán Negro - it’s like sipping a piece of the islands!

A glass of each will be poured to parallel a decadent three-course meal, perfectly paired to heighten every palatable sensation as Shiraz dishes out their best creations. Each course will tell a story of an unforgettable culinary experience. Think homemade Hummus, Saffron Chicken, and Baklava, among other scrumptious options.

An evening to remember, indeed...

All selections will be made from the Canary Island Wines Dinner menu
