Hailed by the likes of Tasting Table, Thrillist, Edible Manhattan, and Business Insider, Tasting Collective is a private supper club that grew out of founder Nat Gelb's desire to offer a more meaningful restaurant experience that fosters a dialogue and connection between chefs and diners.
The Collective's weekly dining events take place at some of the city's trendiest restaurants that often require reservations months-out in advance.
As you enjoy a specially created, 8-10 course tasting menu, the chef will talk about their dishes and the creative process for a unique celebration of food and storytelling. Diners rate each dish and share their experience on Feedback Cards, which are given to the chefs after the event so they can tweak dishes as needed before adding them to their regular menu.
Past dinners have been held at the likes of Lalito, Miss Lily's, Pig & Khao, Traif, Hanoi House, Delaware & Hudson, Tuome, Shalom Japan, and Hecho en Dumbo.
