In true Parisian fashion, Les Vagabonds serves up "bistro classics" gone city-chic, according to The Infatuation. Think French fare with a Manhattan twist, just steps from the East River. But what really sets it apart is the roster behind it. Les Vagabonds is the passion project of Chef Edgar "Teo" Navarrete & Motrya Tomycz, two hospitality vets who opened this Sutton Place gem in 2025 as their first fully independent venture. No restaurant group, no corporate backing, just two people building the neighborhood bistro they always wanted.

Grab your $49 pulse (a $108 Value) for a Cocktail Brunch For Two that includes 2 Entrees, as well as 4 Mimosas, Bellinis, Glasses of Sangria, or Prosecco.

The names of traditional dishes adorn floor-to-ceiling windows like the facade of a Paris bistro, mirroring the warmth of a getaway, sans the flight. Chef Teo brings classical French training from kitchens like Patina Restaurant Group and Osteria Nando to dishes like duck à l'orange and escargots, though weekends here are all about brunch.

Think a gourmet Croque Madame (ham, cheese, béchamel, gruyère, parmesan, and a fried egg), alongside the Short Rib Hash and Salmon Benedict, all built for pairing with a round (or four) of deliciously bubbly tipples.

It simply doesn't get more authentic than a trip to Les Vagabonds. It's about as close to landing in a streetside café on Boulevard Saint-Germain as you'll get without a plane ticket. This Sutton Place treasure turns weekends into a transportive excursion, no passport required.

Co-owners Chef Edgar "Teo" Navarrete and Motrya Tomycz opened Les Vagabonds in 2025 as their first fully independent restaurant, a genuine passion project, as opposed to an outpost of a bigger group. Teo, whose resume includes stints at Patina Restaurant Group and Osteria Nando, runs the kitchen, while Motrya runs the floor. Together they've built the kind of place where whoever greets you at the door might just be one of the owners, a rarity in NYC that keeps regulars coming back.

The name, and the whole concept, trace back to a book of Man Ray photography Teo kept at home. Its imagery became the creative spark for the restaurant. The etched motorcycle logo nods to the name, and while the Champs-Élysées is out of reach, the East River is just a block away.

Vintage French food and drink ads line crimson walls under soft, golden light. Settle in with brunch cocktails made from fresh fruit purées and quality bubbles or their signature sangria and you'll feel like you've traded the Big Apple for a Parisian side street, especially if you dine al fresco outside. How French of you!

The cuisine is classically French through and through. Devour Croque Monsieur, Omelet À La Ciboulette (a fluffy chorizo-and-manchego scramble), and the Steak Frites, a 10oz NY Strip with fries and the house sauce.

From start to finish, this brunch is a "beau rêve"...

All selections will be made from the restaurant's full brunch menu.
