Experience a night of French-inspired fantasy as Crêpes, Caviar & Cocktails: Dinner & Burlesque lights up Doux Supper Club, an immersive Parisian speakeasy founded by restaurateur Eric Biberman (Rainbow Room, Altman Building). The evening commences at 8:00pm on Friday February 16, 2018.
Grab your $89 Table For Two (a $214 value), that gives you admission for two to this luxurious dinner & burlesque show. You will indulge your senses with a 2 Hour Open Bar from 8:00pm until 10:00pm featuring divine specialty cocktails like the Summer in St. Germain (Champagne, St. Germain elderflower liqueur, strawberry purée).
Delight your palate with heavenly Crêpes laden with sweet and savory treats, plus charcuterie, cheese board, and delicate macarons. As you graze, the voluptuous burlesque performance by Puss N. Boots will further whet your appetite.
The cascading wisteria that sparkle mysteriously, distressed floral wall paper, antique bird cages, and bespoke candles create the perfect setting for clinking glasses and whispered intimacies.
Luscious libations, sizzling burlesque, and caviar decadence all in one night; une liaison dangereuse, indeed...
Pass by 59 West 21st street, and you'll see a charming Parisian patisserie and café serving bespoke bonbons & pastries... but go through an unmarked door and up a narrow staircase, and you'll find yourself in a gilded, opium-dream of a lounge dedicated to fulfilling your deepest cravings.
The spacious, 2,000-square foot speakeasy is made cozy using intimate vignettes, with old books, cheeky neons, a fireplace, and feather fans serving as focal points. A highlight is the Lautrec-style mural behind the bar, depicting a Belle Epoque show of cancan dancers, clowns, and other denizens of the night.
Spend a night in gilded grandeur taking in the sensuous stylings of Mademoiselle Puss N. Boots (2nd runner-up, World Burlesque Games London 2012).
No less hedonistic are the exquisite French-inspired cocktails, like the Vive La Révolution (mezcal, Ancho Reyes, honey, blood orange) and the François L'Olonnais (rum, almond liqueur, caramel, sea salt).
