Under expert instruction, you will first get comfortable with mixing and applying paint, as well as learn the names of paint colors. Then you will learn how to obtain certain effects of light, space and texture by using different size brushes, varying thinness of washes, and so on. Ambitious regular students will create a variety of images from both life and imagination, and discuss how colors and forms work together into an integrated whole. Finally, you are ready to start painting!
