Born in 1987 from Andy Rudnick’s desire to turn a lonely Christmas Eve into something far more exciting, MatzoBall has spent four decades becoming a holiday institution. What started as one night for singles looking for somewhere to go has grown into a nationwide phenomenon spanning 20 cities and drawing thousands of partygoers each year. More than 1,000 marriages have reportedly begun with a MatzoBall introduction, giving the legendary Christmas Eve party a reputation for producing far more than just a good night out.
For its milestone 40th anniversary, MatzoBall is going bigger, bolder, and sexier than ever, taking over Musica. The sprawling haven brings European club glamour to New York with two massive dance floors, two DJ booths, multiple bars, soaring interiors, and room after room of pulsing energy. Conceived by nightlife heavyweights Giuseppe Cipriani and Tito Pinton, the force behind Italy’s legendary Il Muretto, Musica channels the seductive spirit of the Riviera through a distinctly Manhattan lens.
Now under the direction of Dream Hospitality, the team behind hotspots including Bounce, Harbor NYC, PHD, and Whisper Room, Musica has become one of the city’s most magnetic after-dark playgrounds.
