You can thank the brains behind Craic Fest, a nonprofit founded by Terence Mulligan in 1998. Dedicated to bringing the best of New Irish Cinema to New York City, the organization boasts an impressive roster of Honorary Board members, including A-listers like Liam Neeson, Ed Burns, Aidan Quinn, Denis Leary, and Michael Fassbender, among others!
The venue for the day is none other than BK Backyard Bar, whose sprawling outdoor area & rustic-chic ambiance acts as the perfect setup for all this indulgence. Freshly shucked oysters and the vibrant hum of energy will fill the scene as you find bliss in a combination of laid-back fun and luxurious decadence.
Oyster dreams are made of these! Slurp after slurp, discover the diverse selection of oyster varieties laid out for you to devour. Whether you prefer them plump and briny or smooth and sweet, the oysters from Long Island's own Blue Island Oyster will be served up, as skilled shuckers will be on-site, demonstrating their craft & unveiling the succulent treasures inside.
