Felicidades! It's time to take yourself to Portugal with endless sips of stunning wines at The Madeira Wine Tasting Experience. Madeira, the fortified wine from the island of Madeira in Portugal, will become your new favorite after this unforgettable fête, especially when you add cocktails, tasty nosh, and interactive activations.
The event is coordinated by Please The Palate, a boutique firm specializing in marketing and event planning for the wine and spirits industry. Owner Allison Levine has designed and produced trade tastings all over the USA, such as Forgotten Grapes and Wines of South Africa.
You'll soar over the Portuguese archipelago of Madeira to savor the bounties of the region's unique grapes. It is produced in a variety of styles ranging from dry wines which can be consumed on their own, as an apéritif, or as sweet wines usually consumed with dessert. At this soirée, you'll be trying expressions from six Madeira wineries - bottoms up!
To add to the sparkle of the spectacular event, award-winning mixologist Lynnette Marrero will serve up Madeira-based cocktails, while sommelier and Portuguese wine advocate Bruno Almeid hosts 15-minute speed-tastings.
