Founded by musicians and creatives Zach Schepis and Jorge Guarch, Umbra is a true Bushwick jewel. The neighborhood quickly became enraptured not only by the versatile space (one that supports local businesses and artists including musicians, coffee roasters, vineyards, breweries, and chefs) but also by the delectable fare and dreamy drinks program.
A constantly shifting & hyper-seasonal menu is crafted by Head Chef Andrew Carlini, who takes nostalgic romps through his memories and reimagines them with an elevated twist. Each dish reflects a balance of comfort and creativity, rooted in personal experience while pushing culinary boundaries.
