This year, Printemps celebrates 160 years of Parisian elegance, and you're invited to discover where it all began. Here, you'll step into the heart of French style.
Continuing its bold reinvention and global expansion, the celebrated French luxury department store Printemps unveils its newest destination in the heart of New York City’s vibrant Financial District. Housed within the historic 50-story landmark One Wall Street, Printemps New York marks a new chapter in the brand’s transformation, one that seamlessly blends Parisian heritage with a distinctly local sensibility.
The jewel is the work of Laura Gonzalez, a multi–award-winning, Paris-based architect and interior designer renowned for her sophisticated, character-rich residential projects and her collaborations with leading luxury brands and international hospitality groups. In 2022, Printemps selected her to reimagine its One Wall Street location with a “Paris meets New York” concept.
At the heart of Printemps New York lies the Red Room Bar, set within the iconic Art Deco masterpiece designed by Hildreth Meière. This landmark space captivates with its soaring ceilings and dramatic red ombré & gold mosaic tiles. Within the richly ornamented gem, you'll find an enchanting “shoe forest,” a sculptural installation crowned by a 15-foot-tall leaf canopy crafted from intricately cut white metal, resembling delicate lace.
Tonight, enjoy an elevated experience featuring a grand seafood and raw bar display, decadent desserts, and Champagne and caviar, all set to a soundtrack by a live DJ. As midnight approaches, the energy builds to a glittering countdown beneath the Red Room’s iconic glass chandelier, acting as the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable start to 2026.
