Making its debut with a round of applause in Williamsburg, the team behind the Michelin-recommended Casa Ora brings Lulla’s, a restaurant, bakery, and cocktail bar that marks the Diaz family’s newest chapter. Casa Ora, the Venezuelan-American restaurant that opened in 2019 and was thoughtfully renovated in 2021, has become known for its warm hospitality and deeply personal approach to cooking, all values that carry seamlessly into this new venture.

Casa Ora is owned and operated by Isbelis Diaz, her son Ivo Diaz, and his wife Rachel Diaz Pirard, and was named after Ivo and Rachel’s daughter, Ora. Now the family is expanding with Lulla’s, affectionately described as Casa Ora’s “little sister” and named after Ora’s younger sibling. The project remains firmly family-driven, with Ivo, Isbelis, and Casa Ora sous chef Diego Farias overseeing the space and its vision.

Defined by the team as one of the finest Venezuelan restaurants in New York City, Lulla’s pairs traditional Venezuelan foods with savory delights and a full cocktail program. For Ivo Diaz, the beverage side is a personal passion, one shaped by his experience working alongside fellow Venezuelan Leo Robitschek, the acclaimed bar director of Eleven Madison Park. The result is a blend of nostalgia and innovation, bringing Venezuelan flavors deservedly into the limelight.

Come time for New Year's Eve, Lulla’s is bringing bold Venezuelan flavor and Williamsburg swagger. They're going all in with an open bar pouring cocktails, wine, and beer, Venezuelan-inspired bites such as empanadas, mandocas, and tequeños, a live DJ, a Champagne toast at midnight, festive party favors, and a live Venezuelan band.

When Lulla’s throws a party, it’s simply unmissable...
