Enter through the unmarked brownstone door into the JFK Room, where midcentury modern design and Mad Men–era nostalgia. From there, the Gatsby Room dazzles with crystal curtains, Art Deco sofas, and Roaring Twenties glamour. The Abraham Lincoln Room channels 1860s grandeur with stately elegance, while the Marie Antoinette Room is an opulent 1700s fantasy of chandeliers and red velvet couches.
A live DJ will play superb sounds while festive party favors make selfies playful. As midnight approaches, Moët & Chandon Champagne will flow and the countdown will begin, but not before you devour gourmet fare such as Lobster Buns, Caviar & Avocado Blinis, Tuna Tartare, Smoked Salmon Dip, Wagyu Sliders, Chocolate Truffles & more.

Prepare your senses for Dear Irving in Gramercy, a dimly lit, transportive cocktail bar that feels like a secret unearthed behind an unmarked brownstone door. With its speakeasy energy, Victorian-inspired décor, and impeccably crafted drinks, the bar dishes up an atmosphere that is both intimate and indulgent. It’s no surprise Dear Irving has earned a place on North America’s 50 Best Bars list and Condé Nast Traveler’s Gold List.
The concept is the brainchild of Meaghan Dorman, Yves Jadot, and Alberto Brenati, aka the team behind Raines Law Room, and was inspired by "Midnight in Paris". The result is a cleverly designed, time-traveling journey where each room immerses guests in a different era. Moving from space to space feels deliberate and theatrical, as though you’re stepping through chapters of history, each with its own mood, textures, and stories.
Enter through the unmarked front door into the JFK Room, a space steeped in midcentury modern nostalgia straight out of "Mad Men". Clean lines, warm wood tones, and vintage accents set the stage before leading into the Gatsby Room, which channels Roaring Twenties glamour. Crystal curtains shimmer softly over Art Deco sofas, creating a scene ripe for whispered conversations and clandestine affairs.
The bar itself is housed in the Abraham Lincoln Room, honoring 1860s grandeur with stately elegance and old-world charm. At the very back lies the Marie Antoinette Room, a frothy, gilded fantasy from the 1700s, complete with chandeliers and plush red velvet couches. Lavish, it feels fit for royalty, and serves as a perfect finale to Dear Irving’s richly layered, era-hopping vibe.
