Join filmmaker Derek Cianfrance ("Blue Valentine") as he discusses his new film, "The Place Beyond the Pines." The story follows Luke (Ryan Gosling), a motorcycle performer who gives up life on the road when he learns that a former lover (Eva Mendes) has given birth to their son. His employer (Ben Mendelsohn) proposes a partnership in a string of bank robberies, putting Luke on the radar of ambitious rookie cop Avery Cross (Bradley Cooper).
