Visual impressions are important. Throughout my career, I have been at the cutting edge of graphic design and technology. I designed user interfaces for MTV’s first websites and Samsung’s first DVD releases. I also co-founded a monthly print magazine entitled “Flyer,” with a circulation of 100,000. These days I solve User Experience design issues on internet platforms. As a consultant, I authored designs for the international brands The Limited, Adidas, and Scholastic, among others, along with complementary point-of-sale materials, flyers, record covers, marketing centers, and advertising campaigns. Once a month I organize a typography meet-up called “TypeThursday” at the various locations to present typography-related work. I speak German, English, some Japanese, and geek; I also dream in code. I teach Ux/UI Graphic Design at Pratt Institute and Parsons in New York City.
