Peck Slip Plaza is a roughly 0.2-acre, open-air public space in the South Street Seaport Historic District of Lower Manhattan, created in 2018 by transforming a former parking lot. It features granite paving, benches, and, as of 2024, is undergoing efforts by the Friends of Peck Slip Park to introduce native plantings and community events to the cobblestone area. Peck Slip Plaza will serve as a much-needed and highly celebrated open space, to be used and enjoyed by workers, residents and visitors in the historic South Street Seaport district of Lower Manhattan.
