Founded in New York City in 2004 by makeup artist David Klasfeld, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics started with a pair of Lip Balms, ‘Tarred’ and ‘Feathered’. As an artist, Klasfeld wanted to develop products that met the needs of artists who weren’t satisfied with the traditional options found on the market, through a commitment to innovation in color, texture and selection. In 2006, OCC introduced OCC Skin, one of the first airbrush formulas created specifically to address the needs of High Definition beauty. OCC Skin quickly made it into the kits of artists working in television, film and advertising.
