Looking Glass Factory was founded in 2013 by a team of inventors, artists, and engineers chasing the dream of the hologram. Based in an old glass factory in the Home of the Hologram (Greenpoint, Brooklyn) and in a converted warehouse in Hong Kong. A team of over a dozen lunatics churn out new prototype interfaces each month, sharing those creations with the world. Since its founding, the Looking Glass Factory name has become synonymous with all things Hologram and Hologram Hacking. And invention parties. First making its name of Kickstarter with volumetric prints and the L3D Cube (LED cubes from the future!), Looking Glass spent most of last year working on a new type of lightfolding volumetric display - Volume.
