Established in 2003 by Eric Goldstein, Gene Montesano and Barry Perlman, Jean Shop Mfg. Inc. has quickly risen to the top of the premium denim market specializing in authentic, classic quality American jeans for men, women and kids.
Utilizing the finest raw selvedge fabrics from Japan, cut and sewn in the USA, Jean Shop creates the highest quality jeans around topped off with handcrafted wash and distress patterns made one at a time for customers by our own in-house staff.
To complement our vintage-inspired denim line, Jean Shop also crafts a beautiful array of leather jackets, belts and wallets all washed, dyed and distressed in-house to offer the finest in vintage leather aesthetics.
Jean Shop’s store resides in New York City, located in NYC’s Meatpacking District. In addition to our freestanding store, Jean Shop is featured in high-end boutiques and department stores around the world, including Barneys. Co-branding with such industry heavyweights as Turnbull & Asser and Converse, Jean Shop has further made its mark as an industry leader in wash innovation and quality craftsmanship.
In 2010 Jean Shop was featured in HBO’s series “How To Make It In America” and owner Eric Goldstein served as a technical writer on the project.
