JAVELINA Upper East Side Javelina owner, Matt Post, brought his dream of elevated Tex-Mex cuisine in New York City to life when he opened Javelina in Gramercy in 2015. Now, he brings a second outpost to 1395 2nd Avenue on the Upper East Side, with a larger bar area and late night happy hour menu to boot. To coincide with the opening, Javelina will provide a free breakfast taco giveaway from January 22-26 to the first 100 people beginning at 8:30am. Influenced by cuisine found in the Lone Star State, guests can expect dishes similar to Javelina’s original location, which has now become a staple for Tex-pats living in NYC.
