Leading organic beauty brand Intelligent Nutrients, created by Horst Rechelbacher (who also founded Aveda and sold it in the late ’90s), is set to debut its first New York City boutique this winter. The shop, at 8th Street and Fifth Avenue just north of Washington Square Park, is scheduled to open on December 15, making it the brand’s first East Coast brick-and-mortar location. Intelligent Nutrients currently has two stores—a flagship in the Mall of America, and a salon called Horst & Friends, in its hometown of Minneapolis.
