Now under the management of Downtown Skyport LLC, a joint venture between Skyports Infrastructure and Groupe ADP, the new operator aims to honor this iconic site’s legacy as an important aviation asset. The name "Downtown Skyport" harkens back to the facility’s earliest days nearly a century ago, in the 1930s, capturing the spirit of its origins and its role in shaping urban aviation in New York City.
