At its core is a collection of over 30 breweries spanning Japan and the United States, each selected for craft, character, and a story that unfolds with every sip. Your tasting glass doubles as a passport, leading you through standout pours from names like Aoki Shuzo, Brooklyn Kura, Dassai Blue, Hakkaisan, Kikusui, Maitsuru Tsuzumi, Noguchi Naohiko, Shinkame, Takara and more, alongside sake cocktails that are both precise and playful.
Balancing the pours, Sake No Hana will dish out Chef-Curated Sushi, Seasonal Bites, A5 Kagoshima Wagyu, Kochi Crown Melon Samplings and then some. Plus, Master Calligraphy by renowned artist Seicho transforms your complimentary sake glass into something personal (for an additional cost), while a live TAO DJ Set layers in a nightlife pulse that feels distinctly New York.

Upstairs NYC's annual SAKE-CON is ready to whisk you away with a glass in hand to Japan, pulling together an international lineup of award-winning and hard-to-find bottles and pouring them straight into the heart of the Bowery for a tasting experience that’s as transportive as it is electric & delectable.
Tucked beneath the catwalk entrance of Moxy Lower East Side, Sake No Hana sets the stage with its signature drama. Delight in an underground den of golden light, warm woods, and low-lit corners that channel Tokyo intrigue and Big Apple cool.
Upstairs NYC is a non-profit organization formed in 2022 to promote friendly relations between New York and diversity culture. A growing community with a focus on promoting learning and community engagement across 4 pillars: art and culture, lifestyle, technology, and food. The organization regularly hosts panel discussions, holds experiential events, cultural celebrations, and socials.
At the center of it all, the tasting unfolds. You’ll sip and swirl your way through 50+ sakes and sake cocktails sourced from over 30 breweries, alongside cocktails from Sake No Hana itself, with a souvenir tasting glass in hand that feels destined for your kitchen shelf long after the night ends.
