The Downtown Dance Festival is a free seven-day festival featuring Battery Dance Company, a diverse mix of New York based companies and prominent international dance companies from across the globe.
Performing alonside BDC this year will be Sutra Dance Theater of Malaysia, Silesian Dance Theater of Poland and TranzDanz of Hungary as well as six diverse local companies and choreographers including Balam Dance Theater, Ballets With a Twist, Dancewave, Jamal Jackson Dance Company, Lydia Johnson Dance and Murray Spalding Mandalas.
