Gesture drawing is a technique that aims to capture fluidity and motion, infusing illustrations with a greater sense of life and vitality. In this class, instructor and illustrator Robin Mork will share methods of working quickly and lightly to capture fluid gesture and moving figures using both charcoal and brush and ink. Afterward, attendees will be invited to apply their new skills to illustrate a live dance performance in the museum’s Main Gallery!
