The BWWG is a space for members to work on their own projects in a focused, supportive environment, in the company of other writers. The Brooklyn Women's Writing Group uses an inclusive definition of the term “women”; they offer space and value the creative energy of all female-identified people--trans, cis, genderqueer, and gender-nonconforming--as well as non-binary people who feel aligned with myriad women's experiences, especially in the context of writing and creative practices.
