After starring in the indie hit Once and winning an Oscar for Best Original Song, folk rock musicians Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova won over audiences and skyrocketed to fame. In love and riding a wave of popularity, they decide to go on tour. This subtle and mesmerizing black-and-white documentary bears witness to the band and the couple, from rousing musical numbers to quieter moments of intense soul-searching.
