Yikes, when we first read this we had to do a double take but it's certainly true. Good news is insects are apparently high in protein and they will also give you enough alcohol so you won't notice the grasshoppers and moths slide down.
Brooklyn Kitchen, in partnership with EyeLevel Gallery, is proud to present Entomo-Cuisine: Insect Tasting Menu. Philip Ross, will lead this four course pairing of edible insects and fine alcohols. The dinner will include pairings such as: Wax Moth Larvae ceviche and Brooklyn Lager, and Grass Hoppers with San Honesto Mezcal. This presentation of the breathe of epicurean possibilities with entemophagy is in partnership the neighboring show WURMHAUS by artist Monica Martinez at Eyelevel BQE Gallery.
