When it comes to food, this city can't be beat. And when topped with unbeatable prices, there is really no way to turn down a quick meal out... Check out these irresistible foodie finds around the city for just $1!

AA Plaza serves up authentic pork dumplings and soy-sauce-splashed rice noodles, but their scallion pancakes for just a buck are definitely something to add to the list. 40-66 Main St at 41st Ave, Flushing, Queens.

Cosenza's Fish Market may lure you in with house-made mozzarella and spicy soprassata, but this Italian market will definitely keep you around with their $1 East Coast oysters, shucked in store for you to see. 2354 Arthur Ave between Crescent Ave and E 186th St, Bronx.

Cyprus Avenue dishes out $1 sliders, and at this steal of a price, we would recommend trying all seven options... Angus beef smashed flat and griddled with onions, corned beef and cabbage, grilled chicken with pineapple relish, or red pepper and portobello mushrooms... convinced yet?? 52 Fifth Ave at Bergen St, Park Slope, Brooklyn.

Dollar Up, true to their name, can satisfy the sweet tooth of any hungry hipster with chocolate-covered gingerbread cookies, and full-size chocolate bars like the dark-chocolate Adas Mieczny filled with sweet crème. 640 Manhattan Ave between Nassau and Norman Aves, Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

Egger's Ice Cream Parlor fits in perfectly to its picture-perfect neighborhood with quaint old-fashioned sodas for only 99 cents. Bring a date to flirt over this throwback novelty, and add a banana royale if he or she is extra cute! 7437 Amboy Rd between Brighton St and Yetman Ave, Staten Island.

El Rinconcito De Tito offers rustic Colombian specialties, but their $1 empanadas stuffed with shredded chicken, steak, or cheese are our Pan-Latin recommendation. 37-61 79th St between Roosevelt and 37th Aves, Jackson Heights, Queens.

Java Village adds some Indonesian flare to this list, and you will want to try their spring rolls, fried rice, and cheap dinners for just one Washington each. 86-10 Justice Ave at Broadway, Elmhurst, Queens.

Sweet Spring Restaurant may have made its break in Flight of the Conchords, but its fame can only improve with its $1 dumplings, panfried pork buns, or shrimp, bean sprout, and scallion delights. 25A Catherine St at Henry St, Chinatown.

Tacos Matamoros offers Pequenos tacos stuffed with rice, beans, cilantro and onions, dusted with two cheeses, and laced with a bracing tomatillo salsa. And although these will cost you $1.25 each, we think that the occasional live performance their will make up for that extra quarter... 45-08 Fifth Ave between 45th and 46th Sts, Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
