World renowned author and artist Edward Gorey (1925-2000) was born on February 22, 1925. In celebration of the anniversary of his birth, the Cartoon Art Museum Bookstore will host a special evening of Gorey-themed entertainment. Cakes and refreshments will be provided, and visitors will enjoy mysterious interpretations from the Fantod Deck. There will be joyous readings from Gorey’s unique books and a special presentation by Gorey’s New England neighbor and fellow playwright Carol Verburg.
