While it's still the middle of winter, one of the best parts of living in California is the continual abundance of fresh produce. In particular it is time for a category of fruit that mixologists play with the most: Citrus. This class is recommended for people who already enjoy preparing cocktails, and would like to further that knowledge to integrate special ingredients into their drinks at home. We will still be covering some basics of technique, so don't worry if you're not fully familiar with all the tools of the trade.

The abundance of local farmers markets in the Bay Area is unrivaled throughout the nation. Here at Bourbon and Branch, we continually scour these markets for fresh, organic and locally grown produce to bring behind the bar to create cocktails with. Right now we are getting meyer lemons, kumquats and asian pears.

In this class we will share the techniques and recipe models that we use to integrate produce into tasty and creative cocktails.
