Helmed by acclaimed Chef Yoshiko Sakuma, Rabbit House is a sophisticated tapas restaurant with a vibe of the most sought-after, secret eateries in Tokyo; the kind of place where a world-class chef serves exquisite dishes to those lucky enough to find it.

Grab your $49 pulse (a $102 value) to experience a magical dinner for two, that includes 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and 1 bottle of wine or sake to share.

A true chef's chef, Chef Yoshiko has worked at some of the world's best restaurants and under some of the world's most famous chefs.

At her debut restaurant, chef Sakuma draws from her haute cuisine pedigree, her Japanese heritage, her farm-to-table inspiration, and her passion for wine and sake - to create a more casual, yet just as delicious, dining experience.

To step inside Rabbit House is to discover a true culinary original - a blend of sumptuous and cerebral Spanish gastronomy, and the intimate, artisanal sensibility of Japanese cuisine; housed in a cozy Lower East Side venue.

With an impressive list of esteemed restaurants on her resume, including the 3 Michelin Star Arzak in San Sebastián, Spain, Executive Chef Sakuma has taken her favorite pieces of the different menus and created a low key dinner experience that is truly her own.

For an appetizer, try the playful and delicious Tako-Taco (octopus, chickpea, spicy mayo, nori sauce) or the Addicted Spare Rib, marinated overnight with sake and soy sauce for fall-off-the-bones texture.

Chef Sakuma's imagination further shines in the entrees section. Her signature Trapped Rabbit is a tender rabbit involtini rolled around a baby carrot and roasted with guava-balsamic sauce. The Spicy Black Baby Chicken packs the perfect heat with sriracha & black sesame sauce, while vegetarians will love the Red Quinoa Pilaf (shiitake, konnayku yam).

The expertly curated wine and sake menu deserves just as much attention here. Whether you choose an Argentinian rose, a Californian red or a Japanese sake, your drink is sure to be as memorable as the food itself!

All selections will be made from the restaurant's full dinner menu.

Your $49 Dinner For 2 (a $102 Value) Includes:

  • 1 appetizer (up to a $15 value).

  • "This place is AMAZING! Everything we had was delicious. We had the ceviche salad, tuna tartare, tako-taco and roasted yellow tail. I'm still savoring those flavors as I write this review, haha. The chef is extremely nice and knowledgeable. The wine and sake selection are excellent as well. I HIGHLY recommend this place and can't wait to go back."
