Teany, an adorable restaurant and afternoon tea lounge, was launched by Moby back in 2001. Since then it has grown to be an extremely popular destination for a playful lunch or delectable afternoon snack.
While you can choose to spend your $25 for $50 of food, drink & alcohol any way you please, we recommend grabbing a friend or two for the fabulous afternoon tea special. Choose from a selection of 98 teas, six kinds of sandwiches, scones, cupcakes, cookies and some beer or wine to wash it down. With such a friendly crowd, it could be the place where you Find Your Baby....
One of the undisputed lyrical legends of the 90s and 00s has to be Moby - The Kid From Harlem who did real good. As his career was taking off, so was his love of fine food, so he and his girlfriend Kelly Tisdale opened Teany in the Lower East Side.
Teany comes with a delectable menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. However it is most famous for its afternoon tea specials which come with traditional tea or, if you prefer, something a little bit stronger. Yes, you can choose from 17 different kinds of beers and wines to enjoy with your meal here.
