The Knickerbocker Chamber Orchestra commemorates the 125th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty and the 200th anniversary of Castle Clinton with compositions inspired by Lady Liberty; works from historic performances at Castle Clinton by the legendary Jenny Lind, “The Swedish Nightingale;” treasures by 19th-century American masters Stephen Foster and Louis Moreau Gottschalk; and a waltz by John Philip Sousa that will lift audiences to their feet. Special guest: three-time Tony nominated actress Judy Kuhn.
