The Metropolitan is la grande dame of all great museums - but lest it turn intimidating and dowdy, it's opening its doors late Friday night for some downright whimsical activities. This week's theme is "Extreme Measures" - the big and the small. Check out live performance of Moroccan Court music, see the smallest and the biggest books in their collection (the latter can't fit on a single table!), and sketch live models. There will also be free nail art sessions, and making of your own astrological talismans. Free with museum admission.
