Located in Brooklyn’s Bay Ridge, the Narrows Botanical Garden is one of New York City’s largest and longest lasting all-volunteer gardening initiatives. Founded in 1995, the Narrows Botanical Garden has many exhibits, such as the Native Plant Sanctuary, Lily Pond, Zen Garden, and the Old and Modern Rose Gardens, and most recently, the new Native Meadow Flower Hillside. The Narrows Botanical Garden features free events such as poetry readings, movie screenings, and festivals on its grounds.
