Giant pumpkins from around the United States are once again heading to The New York Botanical Garden, destined to be turned into an over-the-top sculptural display of zombies and other unearthly creatures during a Giant Pumpkin Carving Weekend on October 20 and 21. Before it continues on to become part of the final display in the Bronx, see this work of art get its start at Grand Central Terminal on Friday, October 19 from 10 a.m.–7 p.m., as Master Carver Ray Villafane of Food Network fame and his team of carvers begin to transform these massive pumpkins into a life-size zombie.
