A superb pianist/composer/arranger born in Puerto Rico, Edsel Gomez is a Grammy award-winning virtuoso and a master at polyrhythms. He has the ability to sound relaxed when playing in the most complex time signatures, and conversely sometimes layers on so many rhythms that he can disguise the fact that he is playing in 4/4 time.
