Actress Taraji P. Henson — founder of The Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation, which is dedicated to eradicating the stigma around mental health issues in the African-American community — joins The Wing for a powerful conversation on the critical work of equalizing healthcare disparities for communities of color. The conversation will be moderated by Elyse Fox and feature guest speakers including Dr. Alfiee Breland-Noble (founder, The AAKOMA Project, a 501c3 org focused on mental health in youth of color); Dr. Jehan (Gigi) El-Bayoumi (M.D., F.A.C.P. founding director of Rodham Institute); and Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (long-time public servant and advocate for New Jersey families, elected in 2018 to her third term in the U.S. House of Representatives and the first African American woman to represent New Jersey in Congress).
