New York City is coming together for a celebration of pride, community, and inclusion! The Disability Pride NYC Parade returns on Sunday, October 18 from 11:00am-3:00pm, bringing disabled New Yorkers, families, artists, performers, advocates, and allies together for a free, accessible celebration. Starting at Madison Square Park, the parade will make its way to Union Square for a vibrant Block Party featuring live performances, entertainment, arts and cultural activities, and dozens of community organizations. This year's gathering also commemorates the legacy of the historic 1977 Section 504 Sit-in, while celebrating the diversity, creativity, and spirit of NYC's disability community.
