The Intrepid Museum and New York-Presbyterian Military Family Wellness Center welcome current and former military service members and their family and friends for a series exploring the links between military service and the brain. Hear from researchers and veterans as they unravel myths and realities about the military and mental health. Leading the talk will be Bruce Shapiro, who is the executive director of the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma, a project of Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism that encourages innovative reporting on violence, conflict and tragedy worldwide.
