They’re often found in the dark corners of bars, bookstores, coffee shops and halogen-lit college campuses, but New York is liberating the poets for the Annual New York City Poetry Festival. With over 75 poetry organizations and 250 poets on Governors Island, it’s sure to be an amazing two days of poetry! There will be readings by poets, publishers, and magazines alike, with local booksellers and artists there as well.
