On Friday, September 11, Bryant Park invites visitors to honor the 25th anniversary of 9/11 with a day of remembrance in the park. Stop by Bryant Park to lay a flower, donated by partner Bank of America, on one ofthe 2,753 chairs displayed across the lawn in remembrance of the 2,753 lives lost on a day that changed our world forever. For the first 3,000 flowers left by the public, Bank of America will donate $25 per flower to the @nycpolicefdtn, @fdnyfoundation, and @papd911 PBA Widows’s and Children’s Fund. Then later that evening at 7:00pm, the @americansymphony Orchestra brings a moving concert of classical and contemporary orchestral music to the lawn during Picnic Performances presented by Bank of America.
