140 Fourth Avenue

Saturday, September 8th, 2012
2:00PM - 5:00PM

Stop by the barrel at USQ for an intimate look at the wines of Oregon's Domaine Drouhin and Burgundy's Joseph Drouhin. The Drouhin family's mastery of pinot noir and chardonnay spans two continents and over 140 years! Since 1880, Maison Joseph Drouhin has produced village, premier cru, and grand cru botttlings in Burgundy, offering an array of expressions from as far north as Chablis to the southern reaches of the Côte Maconnais. Since 1988, fourth generation winemaker Véronique Drouhin has been crafting ageworthy wines in Oregon's Willamette Valley. While the terroir in Dundee is a bit different than Beaune, she strives to create wines that speak of the vineyard, regardless of what side of the Atlantic they hail from! - Free Wine Tasting Saturdays - Details Join guest pourer Louis Kressman of Dreyfus, Ashby & Co. for a tasting of selections from Domaine Drouhin and Joseph Drouhin. In addition, pinot lovers may also look forward to pours from Cloudline Cellars, a collaboration between Drouhin importer Dreyfus, Ashby & Co. and Véronique Drouhin. A stylish value not to be missed, the Cloudline will be featured alongside the Domaine Drouhin Estate Pinot Noir, Joseph Drouhin Saint-Véran, Drouhin Vaudon Chablis, and Joseph Drouhin's 2009 Chambolle Musigny.
