You’ll hear from the staff about the clients they serve and pivotal wins they’ve had in the past year to protect the likes of domestic violence survivors who were trapped at home with their abusers during the height of the pandemic, immigrant street vendors working to feed hungry New Yorkers (and their own families), homeless people who were at the brink of being evicted from safe housing that could protect them against COVID-19, and formerly incarcerated people looking for assistance reintegrating into the world.
