Our taste exploration continues... with premium whisky (aka single malt Scotch) from Scotland and our good friends at John Allans. It went so well in June that we're doing it again. - Scotch Tasting at John Allans Details Joios is a community and an app for people who love discovering new flavors. This Joios event, done in partnership with John Allans, will follow the standard Joios tasting format - which is somewhat serious (a blind tasting of 6 different high end Scotches has to be a bit coordinated), but not at all stuffy. Our name is old French for "joyous" - because tasting events are supposed to be fun. Every taster receives tastes of 6 different high end Scotches. We ask every taster to record a score from 1 to 5 for each taste. Tasters can record using the Joios App (currently available for iPhone) or by submitting scores to the event's host. We use the data to match tasters with their TastePeers (people with very similar preferences).
