British author Ian McEwan is best known for Atonement, which was turned into the Oscar-nominated film starring Keira Knightley and Saoirse Ronan. Now, the winner of the Man Booker Prize and National Book Critics Circle Award returns with his 13th novel, Nutshell, a story about a pregnant wife’s betrayal of her husband. Ian McEwan will open the Poetry Center’s season at the 92nd Street Y with a reading from his new novel.
