To mark the closing of Spencer Finch: Lost Man Creek, a public art installation replicating the Redwood National Park in CA, the acclaimed artist will be giving away some of the young Dawn Redwood trees featured in the exhibition. Ranging from 1 to 4 feet tall and potted with instructions for care, these trees are commonly cared for as bonsai trees but can grow to a height of 130 feet. So maybe not the right pet for your "1 bedroom flex" apartment, but a great option for experienced green thumbs who can maintain it as bonsai! Open to public.
