Friday Nights at the de Young, after-hours art “happenings” include a mix of live music, dance performances, film screenings, panel discussions, lectures, artist demonstrations, special performances, hands-on art activities and exhibition tours.

This Friday cisitors are encouraged to attend this dance extravaganza in their favorite fashions of the era. Black-and-white attire encouraged to create an ambiance of vintage film.

6:00–6:30 p.m. Kick off this fabulous Golden Gate Bridge birthday party with dance hostess Cynthia Glinka and her easy-as-pie dance lessons.

6:30–7:15 and 7:45-–8:30 p.m. Live music of the era performed by The Royal Society Jazz Orchestra
